Links are the lifeblood of a webpage, without them users would struggle to navigate to the more intense sections of a website. By default, links adopt the text body font, and underline and the colour blue, perfectly functional but not very inspiring . To give links a little, more ooomphh there are a number of techniques that can be applied. The easy option (in Dreamweaver) is to head to Modify, select Page Properties and choose the Links category. This gives the option to select the Link font and add a style, ie Bold, Italic and choose a size. There are four link-related boxes which allows users to select a colour for the different state of a link, ie rollover, visited and active.
